51st DOST-FNRI Seminar Series

The DOST-FNRI Seminar Series (FSS) is the annual dissemination of completed research and development (R&D outputs and science and technology (S&T) activities among stakeholders in the food and nutrition community, professionals and students in allied fields, and the general public through our media partners.

Now in its 51st year, the FSS will be held on July 8-9, 2025, at the Dusit Thani Hotel Manila, Makati City. In a partnership with the FNRI Employees Association, Incorporated (FNRI EA, Inc.), the 51st FSS bears the theme:

"Food Security for a Well-Nourished Country"

The scientific technical program highlights a plenary session followed by six (6) technical sessions.

Each technical session features an average of three (3) study presentations.As part of the Undergraduate Research Competition, three (3) studies each from the finalists of the nutrition and food technology categories will be presented by undergraduate students.

Likewise, one of the bigges and mos succesful DOST-FNRI technology licenses will share their journey as a partner in nutrition, job creation, and livelihood generation during the luncheon symposium.
